As a QA/Test Engineer at ANWB for our iOS and Android “Onderweg” App, you not only solve business or user problems to make it “the best app out there”, but your impact is at a way larger scale. You instantly contribute to safer roads and safer car travel in the Netherlands. At ANWB you’ll be encouraged to apply the latest technologies to develop innovative digital products for millions of users. You get to explore your entrepreneurship and you can really make your mark by shaping your vision on testing, reliability and quality. In the end your effort gets our user from locatie A safely (and at ease) to his destination in location B, as he/she receives reliable real-time information along the way, knows where to park and charge his/her electrical car.

• You will level up the way we test, coach and enable other team members to test themselves
• Analyze and access our efficiency and performance to determine which parts can be atomically tested and implemented
• Detect bugs and file bug reports, set up requirements and test and prove that the software meets these requirements
• Ensure quality of the system as a whole and help the team to define quality standards and quality assurance processes
• Participate in features refinement focusing on quality aspects and test scenarios

As part of our Customer Journey Tribe, the Road Trip team is one of our App development teams at the ANWB in The Hague. You will be working in a multidisciplinary Scrum team with several and different types of functions, Frontend, Backend, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Architect. Als achtergrond neem jij mee

Do we have a match?
• You have at least 3 years of experience with native mobile app (QA) testing & test automation.
• You have a good command of the English Language (preferably also Dutch, at least willingness to learn).
• You have a driver’s license (B).
• You are a resident of the European Union and can work within the EU (or have a valid Visa) Besides this you can communicate with (and convince) technical and non-technical team members, in order to achieve the highest quality and reliability we can offer.
• You have a strong sense of ownership of the product you work on and you are result-oriented.
• You are both hands on/ pragmatic as analytical, so it is ok to speak up and raise questions, but also act when the opportunity rises.
• You are a team player and can communicate clearly to team members as well as stakeholders. You can coach others and raise the quality level of our product.
